I know I read that book or had it read to me. The pictures are so familiar. Must have really liked it too. Here is a reported conversation between the author and illustrator Maurice Sendak and a mother:
Mother: "Every time I read the book to my daughter, she screams."
Sendak: "Then why did you continue reading it to her when she does not like it?"
